VG-844　Portable Video Signal Generator

Portable Unit Supporting up to 400 MHz Ultra High Band, Color Difference
and Three-level Sync Signals

VG-844 is the top-of-the-line analog output portable model of VG series, realizing compactness (A4 size) with low price while maintaining upward compatibility with VG-854. In addition to the basic performances , such as horizontal frequency setting accuracy as high as 1 dot level, and ultra wide band covering up to 400 MHz dot clock, color difference and three-level sync signal outputs for HDTV are provided. With these efficient features, the unit is ideal for R&D, production and inspection of the next generation ultra hi-definition display units, and other video related equipment exceeding a resolution of 1600 x 1280.

　

･Features

･ Ultra-wide-band dot clock
Efficient in performance with ultra wide range of dot clocks ranging from 1- to 400 MHz, and horizontal frequency setting accuracy as high as 1 dot.
･ RGB and color difference signals
RGB and color difference (YPbPr) signals can be switched at respective timings to be output. For color difference signals, a desirable color difference factor can be edit and set freely. Also three-level sync signals can be output.
･ Editing/registration software supporting Windows 95/98
The software (SP-8024) that allows to edit, register and execute program data on a PC is provided. Features that allow users to edit special patterns freely, to register natural picture, and read/write capabilities of DDC are supported.
･ Compatibility with conventional models
Data edited with VG-854, 851 and/or 828 and stored on a memory card are supported. The data contained in a conventional analog output VG units (VG-812 and later model) can be used by connecting to VG844 via RS-232C, and by transferring the data.
