VG-847A is a multi-format TV signal generator for analog output based on NTSC, PAL, SECAM, SMPTE-293M, 296M, and 274M. It's capable of generating video signals that conform to a variety of signal formats (1080i/p/sf,720p,480i/p) currently in use. Being equipped with a D-output terminal and a BNC component output that conforms to D5, it can be used with any monitor. By touching a single key, an output pattern can be selected from among eleven basic patterns including monoscope, SMPTE color bar, flat field, gray scale, multi-bar strike, Cross dots basic, etc. You can use the generator for an assortment of applications by using the provided functions such as simple audio output, RS-232C port, exclusive use remote control terminals, etc.
